Maker Space

If you have an interest in building things and working on craft projects, you'll be excited to learn the Pulaski Public Library will be opening our new       makerspace called The Creation Station.

What's a makerspace?  A makerspace is a popular feature in many libraries and offer a workspace for the community to utilize.  No two makerspaces are alike as each are designed to offer equipment and tools to create a wide range of items.   Pulaski’s Creation station will include various tool and toys that spark creativity and exploration of key STREAM learning.

When can I use it?  During an open lab session.  At an open lab, participants will learn about the equipment available for use, policies, safety guidelines, and more to orient themselves to new tools available for use in the      library.  Additional sessions will be hosted in future months.

This month:   Quilt Fabric Cutter will be the highlight at our Open Lab Session on May 29th.  Drop in anytime between 9:30 am—noon.  Bring your quilt or applique material that you would like to cut for upcoming projects or simple to give the machine a try.
